RaptiComm features
Here are the key features of RaptiComm:
- Client-server mode support
RaptiComm can act with or without a server application running. In the former case the chat can exchange via either UDP or TCP. For interaction via UDP no additional settings are needed. Simply run a server on a remote machine in the LAN. To connect by TCP it is enough to specify the server address and port number. The server allows to merge several LAN chats via Intenet (see DETAILS). In the latter case all that is needed is simply to run the application on a computer in a LAN.
- Channel based chat
There are 3 types of channels: common, password protected and private channels
- Emoticons and font styles
You can insert smileys in the text and mark-up your messages with various font styles (Bold, Italic, Underline, Strikeout)
- Remote processes
You can view the list of processes running on the remote computers
- Remote screenshots

- Logging in HTML format with images and font styles
